Yonsei University puts the “Y” in “S.K.Y.,” the nickname for the top three comprehensive universities in Korea. Founded by Christian missionaries in 1885, the private university has three campuses — the Main Campus in Sinchon in Seodaemun District, western Seoul; the International Campus in Songdo, Incheon; and the Mirae Campus in Wonju, Gangwon.

Yonsei University has one of the largest international student bodies in the country and attracts more than 1,000 students from around the world for its annual summer school program. Often featured in Korean dramas and movies for its beautiful campus, Yonsei is particularly well-known for its academic programs in medicine, dentistry, business and international studies.
