Owing to its origins, the university’s best majors include fisheries science, marine systems engineering, refrigeration and air conditioning engineering and microbiology. The university has two campuses, with its main Daeyeon Campus and Yongdang Campus both situated in the southern part of Busan. The university is easily accessible by bus and subway and has an active neighborhood with many restaurants and cafes. One of the major appeals of the university is the cheaper tuition fees, as its fees are on average $2,720 cheaper than private institutions, according to its website.
