Pukyong National University was formed in 1996 out of a merger between the National Fisheries University of Pusan and Pusan National University of Technology. Owing to its origins, the university’s best majors include fisheries science, marine systems engineering, refrigeration and air conditioning engineering and microbiology. The university has two campuses, with its main Daeyeon Campus and Yongdang Campus both situated in the southern part of Busan. The university is easily accessible by bus and subway and has an active neighborhood with many restaurants and cafes. One of the major appeals of the university is the cheaper tuition fees, as its fees are on average $2,720 cheaper than private institutions, according to its website.
We are committed to helping applicants from any part of the world access education opportunities in South Korea. At the same time, we want our students to have a high chance of getting their visa approved. Accordingly, WayToKorea will charge a mandatory processing fee of USD 250 (“Processing Fee”) from any applicant.
Note 1: WayToKorea reserves the right to change, refund or waive the Processing Fee at its sole discretion for any reason. A processing fee may be added at any time during the application process at the sole discretion of WayToKorea. Your use of WayToKorea after such request and/or change constitutes your acceptance of any new or increased charges.
Note 2: WayToKorea may also charge a non-refundable deposit for certain university programs, the amount of which is determined at its sole discretion.
Note 3: The processing fee does not apply to students who are already in the host country of study and/or who are in the host country on a valid student visa and are applying for another program in the same country.
Note 4: Once a student has paid the Processing Fee, he or she can apply for 3 programs until they receive confirmation of acceptance. WayToKorea may charge additional processing fees if a student applies for more than three (3) programs and/or is accepted into one of the three (3) original programs but decides to apply further and additional applications.
