Kyungsung University is a private university founded in 1955. The campus is located in Nam District, Busan, not far from the city’s famous Gwanganli and Haeundae beaches. Originally established as a teacher’s college before reorganizing as a general university in the late 1970s and throughout the ‘80s. The university has 10 undergraduate colleges that specialize in Global Studies, Liberal Arts, Law and Political Science, Commerce and Economics, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Arts, Theology and Creative Human Resource. Current and former students have rated Kyungsung positively for its motivated and supportive faculty, its diligent and hardworking student body and its generous merit-based scholarship programs.
