Incheon National University (INU) was founded in 1979 and is Incheon's only state-run university. INU has three campuses, one each in Songdo, Michuhol and Jemulpo. Songdo is the main campus, with the Michuhol Campus covering education, research laboratories and semiconductor-related centers. The Jemulpo Campus is currently not in use. The Songdo Campus is about a 10-minute bus ride from Incheon National University station on Incheon Metro Line 1. The Michuhol Campus is right in front of Technopark Station on the same line. INU's Songdo Campus has a Korean Language Insitute for foreign students who wish to study the language.
