Chungbuk National University is a nationally sponsored university founded in 1951 and located in North Chungcheong. It has four campuses in Gaesin-dong, Osong-eup, Ochang-eup and Jiphyeon-dong. Aside from the main Gaesin-dong Campus, the school of pharmacy is in Osong-eup, a technology institute in Ochang-eup and the Jiphyeon-dong Campus is currently under construction to house a veterinary school. To get to the campuses from Seoul, you can take the KTX train and get off at Osong Station, but you will need to transfer on local buses.
