Established in 1996, CHA University is a medical-science specialized university with outstanding technology in stem cell, human genome and infertility studies. Founded by Dr. Cha Kwang-yul, who currently serves as global research and innovation leader at CHA Medical & Bio Group, some 70 percent of the university graduates are hired to various hospitals and public enterprises every year. As of 2022, roughly 83.6 percent of CHA University students received some sort of scholarship. Its undergraduate programs are based in Pocheon, Gyeonggi, while graduate schools and research insitutues are in Seongnam, Gyeonggi.
